Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team. As a Body Shop Technician at Kunes Ford, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality collision repair services to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle inspections to assess damage and determine repair requirements.
• Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Straighten and align vehicle frames and bodies to restore their structural integrity.
• Weld and fabricate metal parts as necessary for repair purposes.
• Apply refinishing techniques to match vehicle paint colors and achieve a seamless finish.
• Ensure all repairs meet industry standards and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the service advisors regarding repair processes and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following proper waste disposal procedures.
• Continuously update your knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in using various repair tools and equipment, such as frame straighteners and welders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
